Ernesto is the current Varsity Boys Coach at Sheboygan North High School, where he started the program in 2022. An unconventional journey to discover his love for volleyball began in 2009 by way of watching his close friend compete for the UW-Oshkosh Mens Club Team while in college together. Year by year, Ernesto continued to pick up skills, knowledge, and above all his passion for the game through tournaments, leagues, and the relationships developed along the way. Although he does not come from a traditional playing career, Ernesto loves learning the X's and O's of the game, the ins and outs of running a high school program, and most of all the relationships with his players and the entire volleyball community. Upon his hiring at Sheboygan North as a School Counselor in 2015, Ernesto was driven to bring Boys Volleyball to his new school. What started as a six-team Quads Intramural League in 2017 is now a full Varsity and JV program. He is proud of what he has built since the Raiders' inaugural season in 2022 and is determined to continue growing the sport in the Sheboygan Area.
